I can understand your position, but I didn't specifically mention spanking so I think you could still agree with my statement. Abuse does not have to be physical. Certainly a parent should never become vengeful with a child. My wife and I spanked with 99% of this occurring between 3 and 6. By the time children reach grade school it becomes easier to communicate with them intellectually. I consider spanking past 7 or 8 as undesirable.
