Every company failure is the result of an evil syndicate plotting against it. Just ask any given company's more ardent longs. Although this is an unwritten law of investing — you'll never see it on the SEC books — it is nevertheless, true. The rabid cheerleaders of any and every public company will confirm this for you — just ask them. The corollary to this law is: "All stocks must go up…", or in more fully comprehensive detail, "All stocks must go up, even in spite of crappy financials and dubious products." All any company needs is a believer. The syndicates and devious cabals will surely follow.
