Individualism is the political philosophy where the citizen is the MASTER and the government is the SERVANT. There only two political philosophies. The other political philosophy is Collectivism.
The individualist government can be either a Democracy or a Republic. In the Democracy, all citizens directly form the national legislature. Switzerland comes close (women are still denied the right to vote in some cantons) to being the only Democracy that has ever existed in the history of the world. In the Republic, representatives are selected by the citizens to represent them in the legislature. The United States of America was started as a Republic, but is rapidly becoming a Collectivist State just as Ayn predicted it would in her book Atlas Shrugged. Our Republic is more likely to be replaced by an Islamic State, however. The Islamic Fundamentalists in the USA are spending millions of dollars contributed by Saudi Arabia to convert the population of the USA into Muslims and the USA into an Islamic State. The Muslims hate Individualism and Ayn Rand's philosophy as well. The Muslims hate capitalism ¯ bank on it! Just who do you think you are? Are you a Liberal, a Moderate, or a Conservative? Are you on the Left or on the Right? Did you know that there is no difference between a dictatorship of the left or the right? Both are Collectivist governments. So there is no difference between Leftism and Rightism! Does that make sense to you? All of these so-called political positions are examined in the Collectivism document.
Most of the Founding Fathers of our Republic were really Individualists because they actually believed that the citizens ought to be the masters of the government and that the government ought to be the servant of the people. Did you know that? They were all extremists, weren't they? Not only that, but they believe that the rights of the citizens were guaranteed by their Creator ¯ namely ¯ God! If God is the guaranteer of our rights, then no earthly collectivist Peoples Republic of North America can take our rights away. But if God is taken away, what then? The collectivists have been taking God away by law and by regulation, don't you agree?
But now the Muslims on the USA are running ahead of the traditional Collectivists. The Muslims want to establish a Collectivist State every bit as ruthless and cruel as the Taliban rulers of Afghanistan. Oh yes, as I write this, they have been overthrown ¯ or so we are told. But look at the evil rulers of Iran, Iraq, Libya, Sudan and many other Islamic States. The practice of democracy is forbidden. Women's rights are stopped dead in their tracks by the teachings of the Qur'an ¯ no matter what the Muslim liars say to you! So ¯ listen to Ben Franklin ¯ who knew what he was talking about!
BEN FRANKLIN SAID:
"In this situation of the Assembly, groping as it were in the dark to find political truth, and scarce able to distinguish it when presented to us, how has it happened, Sir, that we have not hitherto once thought of humbly applying to the Father of lights to illuminate our understandings? In the beginning of the Contest with Great Britain, when we were sensible of danger we had daily prayer in this room for the divine protection. Our prayers, Sir, were heard, and they were graciously answered. All of us who were engaged in the struggle must have observed frequent instances of a Superintending providence in our favor. To that kind of providence we owe this happy opportunity of consulting in peace on the means of establishing our future national felicity. And have we now forgotten that powerful friend? Or do we imagine that we no longer need his assistance? I have lived, Sir, a long time, and the longer I live, the more convincing proofs I see of this truth - that God governs in the affairs of men. And if a sparrow cannot fall to the ground without his notice, is it probable that an empire can rise without his aid? We have been assured, Sir, in the sacred writings that 'except the Lord build the House they labour [sic] in vain that build it.' I firmly believe this, and I also believe that without his concurring aid we shall succeed in this political building no better than the Builders of Babel. We shall be divided by our little partial local interests, our projects will be confounded, and we ourselves shall become a reproach and bye word down to future ages. And what is worse, mankind may hereafter from this unfortunate instance, despair of establishing Governments by Human Wisdom and leave it to chance, war and conquest."
Here Ayn Rand and I part company. I believe, like Ben Franklin, that a Republic cannot exist and continue to exist without the assistance of our Creator. Only God, whom no one on Earth can overrule, can assure us of our rights as enumerated in the Constitution and the Bill of Rights. The Collectivists seek to overthrow God and thus overthrow the Republic. They seek to establish an Empire where the unholy State owns everyone and everything. Here Ayn Rand and I rejoin company: the Collectivist Empire will destroy all that is good and decent and shall plunge us all into a new dark age of evil ¯ a world ruled by the Dark Lord ¯ SATAN!
The question is: are the Muslims any different than any other Collectivists? I say without fear: Hell. no! There is no difference! The Muslim Terrorists (still only a small percentage of all Muslims - but growing fast!) will soon prove that: |
