And now its two years later and we are back to the same garbage. Now we are supposed to believe that out of 300+ sleepers not one of them is in violation of their visas or broken the speed limit or violated a gun law or has not filed their income taxes or has not behaved suspiciously or done anything that warrants bringing them in for questioning?

So you're under the impression that we know who these 300 sleepers are, and we're just waiting for some legal basis to talk to them? If that's the case, then the whole war on terror at home will be a piece of cake! I doubt that is the case though.

How did they come up with the number of 300? There is not sufficient past factual data to make such a wag/estimate. As I understand it, the 300 are people the CIA and FBI are aware of and are watching closely.

And frankly, to blame this lack of activity on the left is baloney since the left has been relatively quiet on those rare times when someone has been taken into custody.

I'm not even claiming there is a lack of activity. YOU are. I'm just saying that we are most likely doing all we can, and going any farther would be going down the profiling road which would get the left antsy.

So then......you are satisfied that all that can be done has been done and the sleeper problem in the USA is under control?

Plus when the administration screws up....like in the current foreign diplomacy disaster, these same people get very quiet.

There is obviously a difference of opinion here. I think the current admin is doing a great job with foreign policy. A stand needs to be made, and I'm proud that Bush has the rocks to do it.

How you can say that is beyond me.

Forget public perception.....the polls showing that less than 50% think Bush is doing a good job in foreign diplomacy. Forget that millions marched on Saturday in opposition to a war that Bush has tried to sell the world for the past year; a war that hasn't even started yet. Forget that slimeballs like Kim Jong are climbing out of the woodwork to hackle Bush.

The fact that we can't work things out behind the scenes with our allies and the disagreements have been aired like so much dirty laundry is enough proof for me.
