Doesn't this tell you there's something wrong with the picture? There are SOBs and then there are our SOBs. As long as we sacrifice principle for practicality, we will remain vulnerable to blowbacks. Blowbacks are a bitch, they say. But our power and our hubris blinds us to our corruption. Everytime we have a blowback, we appropriate higher moral ground and authorize ourselves to use our power with less restraint. Causing more blowbacks. A fatal cycle.
