M.Stanley Ups Price Targets On 5 Retailers

NEW YORK (Dow Jones)--Morgan Stanley & Co. raised 12-month share-price targets on five retailers, according to a source at the firm.

The target on Wal-Mart Stores Inc. (WMT) was raised to $43 a share from $39 a share.

Sears Roebuck & Co. (S) was raised to $71 from $66. May Department Stores Co. (MAY) was raised to $61 from $58.

Federated Department Stores Inc. (FD) was raised to $46 from $42. And Barnes & Noble Inc. (BKS) was raised to $55 a share from $50.

No other information was immediately available.
