Dynamic Healthcare Technologies, Inc. Announces New Contracts Totaling $8.6 Million

MAITLAND, Fla.--Dynamic Healthcare Technologies, Inc. (Nasdaq: DHTI) today announced key contracts signed in the past sixty days for their electronic health record, document management, anatomic pathology, laboratory and radiology solutions.

New DynamicVision electronic health record and document management contracts were signed with Oroville Hospital in Oroville, CA and Jefferson Regional Medical Center in Pine Bluff, AR. In addition, Borgess Health Alliance in Kalamazoo, MI, a customer since 1994, expanded its use of DynamicVision with the purchase of a new site license.

New contracts for the Company's CoPath(R) Client/Server anatomic pathology system were signed with the following healthcare facilities: University of Pittsburgh Medical Center in Pittsburgh, PA; Borgess Health Alliance in Kalamazoo, MI; Olympic Medical Laboratories in Bremerton, WA; Aurora Healthcare System in Milwaukee, WI; Propath Laboratory Inc. in Dallas, TX; Hartford Hospital in Hartford, CT; American Pathology Resources (APR) in Nashville, TN; and Greenville Pathology PA, in Greenville, NC. The Department of Defense also expanded its use of CoPath through the purchase of additional licenses and services.

Premier Series Laboratory Information System contracts were signed with Gadsden Hospital in Gadsden, AL; Sheridan County Memorial Hospital in Sheridan, WY; and Otsego Memorial Hospital in Otsego, MI.

The Company signed Maxifile(R) Radiology Information System contracts with Saint Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston, NJ, and Mission - St Josephs Health Systems in Asheville, NC. Additionally, Grant/Riverside Healthcare Systems in Columbus, OH expanded their use of Maxifile by purchasing additional licenses.

Mitchel J. Laskey, President and CEO commented, "As announced on July 17, our current new systems backlog is at a record level of over $12 million; a 140% growth over the $5 million for the period ending March 31, 1997.
These new contracts were keys to the continued growth in our systems backlog."
