Not sure I believe that, but I am against any sanctions anywhere that affect the health of the people of a country. But again you are making excuses for Saddam. All he had to do is step down or even open up to inspections. Instead he continued to develop WMD. So he was willing to sacrifice his people to attempt to attack Israel. Amazing the Arabs hate us when Saddam killed over 600,000 Iranians and 200,000 of his own people. But you don't care about that.
