Bush has been trying to make anti-totalitarian arguments; how many times has he spoken of liberating the Iraqi people from their dictatorship? These arguments get no traction with the Left. The Left plainly does not care about totalitarians. It only cares about being anti-America and anti-Israel. Why else did the demonstrators carry signs saying "Free Palestine" (what Palestine has got to do with a war in Iraq, I don't understand) but no signs saying "Free Iraq"?
