I don't believe in ignoring.
Playing with the UN nicely, does not mean ignoring. Did you here the statement of the EU last night? They want results. Continuing to be in Iraq, and monitoring Iraq, is not ignoring Iraq. We haven't been ignoring Iraq. We've been ignoring a lot of other places we should have paid attention to, but imo not Iraq.

You were the one who tried to call Saddam a murderer because of the casualties of the Iran/Iraq war- a war we approved of and helped to finance. I don't think you can call casualties of war murder victims. Because if you do, then every country has committed mass murder and that lessons the real impact of the words. Better just stick to the Kurds he has killed- that really was murder. Of course the Us was giving him money at the time he began killing them. We looked the other way. So if he is guilty, we are also complicit.

Do you want to blame Saddam and hence the US? Why must you blame America?????

sigh (that's a little bit of humor- hope you don't mind. Our history with Iraq is rather shameful- there's a good book out about it. I'll try to remember what the title is for you, if you would like the title.)
