but the economic collapse is what did the job.
If economic collapse was enough to bring regime change then North Korea would have changed long ago. The people have to know about an alternative that they see as preferable enough to make the difficult effort.

It was not our military that the Soviet citizens found appealing, but our opportunity for self expression and success. These are the very qualities that Bush and Ashcroft threaten, it is any wonder that the U.S. is no longer being held as role model to the world.
