SB, we don't have a sales (or income) tax in NH, but I see a sales tax as a self controlling tax. If I want to spend 40K for a car I will have to pay the tax. If I don't want to pay the tax I should buy a cheaper car or stick with the one I have. In CA sales taxes is on non-essentials correct? The real answer is to control spending!
