zonder, I don't believe that "Gulf War Syndrome" exists. The massive study published in the American Journal of Epidemiology found that that Gulf War vets are suffering no more illness than veterans who didn't deploy to the Gulf theater. The main conclusion drawn was that, if anything, the Gulf vets were healthier than those who didn't deploy to the Gulf. The only difference is Gulf war vets have a somewhat higher level of complaints commonly associated with psychosomatic illness. Don't waste your time giving me links to non peer reviewed studies or anecdotes.
