I remember back when I was a kid watching the Friday Night Fights sponsored by Gillette. Had a little song, To look and feel sharp and be sharp too..

One Friday night Emile Griffen KO'd Billy "Kid" Parret who got hung on the ropes. Right there on TV, Emile gave him 36 unblocked shots to the head before the fight was stopped. They drilled 8 holes in the "Kids" skull to relieve the pressure but his brains just oozed out and then he died.

Ali fought the British champ Cooper and blinded him by the 4th round. Ali forgot his opponent and started chatting with the crowd. Cooper hunted him down by sound and decked Ali. When Ali got up pieces of Cooper's face landed on people in the 4th row.

Now they stop the fights much earlier.
