How about a US/GB sponsored US of Europe set up to grab the nations chirac insulted along with the NATO 15 who might care to get a final divorce from the Franco-Germans controlled EU. California wines and Chevys in Latvia is a pretty picture. EU can be renamed PEU (phew) because of the smell of unsold rotting cheese and sour beer sitting on the docks of vichy.
