What's amazing about the stall with Turkey is that the 101st Airborne is enroute to Turkey. Should the 101st get to the northern Iraq war theater, they'll be in a very tough spot. Iran has moved forces into Northern Iraq; Turkey wants to send 60-80,000 troops 170 deep inside of Northern Iraq; the Kurds are in Northern Iraq; and, we're told, Al Qaeda has a presence in Northern Iraq. Oh, what the heck. One might as well add in the Saddam would have forces somewhere close to that area.

Should this group be called upon, and the war actually happens, our prayers should be with this group as they'll be deeply challenged by unpredictable forces from every direction.
