XMSR Was another one benefiting from an article on Barron's, it was up 19.10% on volume of more than 10.88M (more than 3x its daily average.)

According to the article on Barron's, both XMSR and SIRI need from 2 to 3M subscribers to break even and XMSR expects to have close to 1M subscribers by year end.

After the double bottom (Thursday & Friday ) last week at the 3.59 level, XMSR had a good up-gap today.

The stock had been trading around 0.46 of book, but the last Q loss was still large at $1.26/share and the cash/share is around $0.90 (However, the company has announced that it has received another $25M commitment from investors.<g>)The cash is now supposed to last until 2004 when it expects to be ready to break even.

Once the subscriber number gets over the break even point, earnings are expected to rise rapidly since it doesn't cost much to put new subscribers on line.<g> (Some estimates project earnings of as much as $1.50/share in 4 years.<g>)

At any rate, it seems prudent to watch and see if the stock will close some of today's up-gap as there may be enough time to get in on the expected up-move.<g>

The stock needs to close above the January 31 H of 4.82 before it can test its January 22 H at 5.19 and then its Sept.4 H at 6.24

When it looks that the earnings are ready to get above $1, the stock price should be ready to test its 2001 H.<g>
