OFF TOPIC - Mani, you asked...

<<I would like to know how you conclude that there has been
a sell or buy at a particular price level.>>

In skimming the posts, I don't believe you had this question addressed(please excuse the redundancy if not the case).

Many individuals who trade often subscribe to real time dynamically updating quote services(prices range from $50 to $1500 monthly depending on bells and whistles). Viewing tick by tick data allows one to determine buys and sells usually by watching trades on the ask or bid, respectively. Can be most informative when also watching corresponding volumes of trades. Many times, the big money buys/sells(50,000 - 100,000shrs) directly contradict the small traders(i.e. all upticks occur on trades of 100 - 5000 shrs, downticks on 50,000 - 100,000 shrs and vice versa; sometimes for long periods). Some people like to follow big money, considering it "smart" money, but this "smart" money also can land on the wrong side of stocks.

If you're interested, I think you can download a free dynamically updating tick by tick 15 minute delayed service at papyrus.com.

Everything you did and did not want to know regarding how other posters determine buys and sells. Hope it helps.

Teri
