Hi Doug - I see QCOM as an emerging entrant into these markets. Therefore it has higher risk and also higher potential reward. Since it is just entering, P/S doesn't mean a lot to me for an entrant unless it is adjusted for the potential growth rate. To even think that QCOM is in the same ballpark in terms of P/S terms would indicate to me that it is way undervalued. Still there is a lot of risk that can be associated with this entry - though I have seen no indication so far that QCOM cannot deal with these risks. Until I do, I don't discount its future success very much. Just my opinion though.
