Frank, thanks for allowing us to peer into your crystal ball. The only thing I would question is why you think silver would lead a gold recovery. Whereas gold is a panic commodity, at the very least, silver has only one major industrial use, in photography, and that is being eroded by digital imaging. I suggest we're lucky to see silver maintain even its present level.

One other point you make concerning what might happen to equities: If it is true that we could see a major drop in equities, then the best strategy for ANY investor is to get out of margin and accumulate some cash, or securities that are very liquid, with low downside risk, that can be used as a safe haven. Then, after a major correction, an investor will be prepared (and liquid enough) to take substantial positions.
