Yes, I have asked myself that question and do believe the world will be a better place with Saddam taken off the scene. You are in favor of the status quo, not me! It is in the interest of the US to help stabilize the middle east. I don't see why you don't slam Chirac for supporting Iraq so France can maintain its oil interests. I see France's position as more detrimental to world peace. Doing nothing in the end makes things worse, imo. And it does make a difference what the Iraqi people want.
