New Dimension Software Announces CONTROL-D/Decollation Server(TM)
New Technology Completes Company's Powerful Enterprise Output Management(TM) Solution
IRVINE, Calif., July 29 /PRNewswire/ -- New Dimension Software (Nasdaq:DDDDF - news) announced today the availability of the CONTROL-D/Decollation Server, completing the Company's line of Enterprise Output Management products.
New Dimension Software's Enterprise Output Management product line supports all facets of output management, including report breakdown and ownership, storage, printing and viewing -- for mainframe and non-mainframe systems. CONTROL-D/Decollation Server extends this offering, adding UNIX- and Windows NT-based output identification, report breakdown, ownership and life- cycle assignment.
The CONTROL-D/Decollation Server is available immediately from New Dimension Software. Prices start at $15,995 for a base configuration.

Report Breakdown And Ownership Processing For Non-MVS Platforms
CONTROL-D/Decollation Server uses UNIX and Windows NT servers to process reports generated anywhere in the enterprise. The decollation process separates production reports into appropriate subsets based on the recipient and business requirements. It also indexes the reports, and assigns ownership, destination and life-cycle attributes to report sections.
In addition, CONTROL-D/Decollation Server can send report segments to a range of destinations including CONTROL-D/PC(R) viewing workstations, local or remote LAN servers, printers, e-mail recipients, or to CONTROL-D/Internet Server(TM) for Web-based viewing of reports.
CONTROL-D/Decollation Server is one component within New Dimension Software's Enterprise Output Management product line. Other complementary products include CONTROL-D(R) and CONTROL-V(R) for complete MVS-based output management; CONTROL-D/Delivery, providing advanced delivery of output to any enterprise-wide destination; and CONTROL-D/PC and CONTROL-D/Internet Server, providing standardized viewing directly from the desktop using Windows-based PCs and, optionally, Web browser software.
