Knew one guy who took a Hummer deer hunting just to show off and he came back cussing up a storm about how the truck was too wide and how much walking he had to do.

I have a friend who did the exact same thing. He bought a Hummer and then decided to take it deer hunting. Big mistake. That vehicle is just not made for narrow mountain trails. It got stuck up there and needed tons of guys to help him get it turned around and out.

I almost bought a hummer years ago for my wife. But we found the ride too stiff and it just didn't seem all that great a vehicle. I'd never even think of using one for hunting.

If you hunt high, you need something powerful, with good ground clearance, not too wide and not too stylish. (grin)
