OT - Our kids were supposed to go to school President's day to make up for snow days earlier in the winter. Suffice it to say that school was cancelled. Also Tuesday, Wednesday and now Thursday. My husband is home, too, because his snow shovel broke, so he can't dig his car out. We can't find a replacement anywhere. Hardware stores all sold out. He'll have to use the regular shovel. Lucky for me, I don't need to go to court any time soon, but if I did, the Rover handles the snow and ice just fine. On the first day of the blizzard, I was driving on a foot of virgin snow with no problem. Teeny-tiny cars that get good gas mileage all had to stay home.;^) At the height of the blizzard, we were seeing even SUVs stuck in the snow. People think just because they have four wheel drive, they don't have to drive carefully.
