Now for the story....
CEO George Faris....Went over the history of the deal..as follows to the best of my ability....from Faris B..
-Pre Soviet breakup ...the Soviet government was extensively testing our current site (The Benghish field) they drilled 12 wells which are all close to a pipeline,,,,
-These 12 wells were not to process oil but to assess structures for oil....one structure the large (51ish mile one) had 4 wells drilled on it and blewout big time...it is on that site that they have found the 41 sweet crude oil....they had oil leaking all over the environment and was a major concern as an environmental disaster....they had to do 4 cement plugs to contain it...
-During this period the Teniz field was discovered (the Chevron field) and the Russians dropped everything putting all the seizmics on the "shelf" and ran over to the Teniz where immediate profit producing oil could be obtained without any major effort...
-Then the political upheaval occurred..and the seizmics on the shelf (the geologist who is CEO of Dank knew where they were) kind of disappeared in the turmoil...well when things settled down the CEO Dank got into action...made inital arrangenments ( I'm a little forgetful on this part..Faris can fill us in later)
-An old time Greef friend of George Faris contacted him about the deal..(I beleive it was the guy from MED shipping)..after "discussions over license rights and neogogiations..AIPN made the BIG move...
-So it appears that the former Geologist, CEO from Dank, pulled the old seizmics off the "shelf" and found the best deal going..he also had an offer from a major oil company for $10ish mil but turned it down as he would have no other involvment of rights.
-So there we have it my best attempt at repeating what Faris B told me this morning, I hope you appreciate Faris and my efforts at conveying this information...and he will be online this evening to clear up any misses I made of left out...
