And that rude rejection of W. European interests, is exactly why we won't have a division of French tanks alongside us when our army crosses the Iraqi border.

And it only gets harder, after this. If we truly want to close down the terrorist Safe Havens, we have to go after Iran, Syria, Saudi Arabia, N. Korea (partial list). All those regimes need to be persuaded to stop giving weapons/training/money/information to Al Queda/Hezbollah/Hamas/Islamic Jihad. If we can't solve anything by negotiation (the no-Carrot policy), then that means the military has the whole job (the all-Stick policy).

Wouldn't it be a good idea to not piss off our potential allies, by showing a bit of flexibility on non-core issues like Kyoto?
