I know we, or after a short time with Iraq run directly by Americans the new Iraqi government, are going to spend Iraqi money on building up Iraq. It wouldn't make sense not to. I said "we will spend US money as well", not "all of the reconstruction will be done with American money".

And the worst part about it is that even some of
our coalition partners think we are going in because we want the oil.

Not a really rational thought but of course reason and logic are not prerequisites for having and opinion...
