Potter Named Vice President of Display Products at Three-Five Systems, Inc.

TEMPE, Ariz., Feb. 19 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Three-Five Systems, Inc. (NYSE: TFS - News), a Tempe-based provider of display system solutions and engineering and manufacturing services, today announced that it has named Van H. Potter as Vice President of Display Products.

For the past year, Potter served as Market Development Manager and Project Manager at the Rogers Corporation in Chandler, Arizona. From 1994 to 2002 he held a variety of management, marketing and new business development posts at Durel Corp., the Chandler-based joint venture of Rogers and the 3M Corporation. Durel manufactures custom electroluminescent backlighting system components and semiconductors for the global consumer electronics display industry.

At Three-Five Systems, Potter will be responsible for the design, engineering and sales of the company's broad line of custom and standard display products widely used in the cell phone, industrial, consumer and computer industries. Also reporting to Potter will be AVT, the Massachusetts-based group that Three-Five purchased in 2002. AVT specializes in the design, customization and integration of high-resolution CRT and flat panel monitors.

Potter received a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering with high honors from Northeastern University, Boston, Massachusetts in 1983. He received an MBA Degree, also with high honors, from Arizona State University in 2001.
