You're right.

The internet boxes will have very limit capacities and will primary
be for those many that only surf the internet for the information
in it. They will be used just for convenience like
the telephones are. I mentioned the mainframes just to make the
point that for the internet boxes to have the capability of the PC,
they will have to be a PC, or there will be super powerful server
and super faster data communication. Neither I see will come soon.

It all depends on how much convenience a simple net surfer box can
bring.

Information, For students, professonals, they will neek a PC.

Chating and group discussion, Great for these already have access to
PCs now, But not for everyone. probably not very appealing for
people prefer the box over PC.

Shopping. Very appealing to everyone that shops from catelog. It's
interesting to see that although the best PCs (e.g. Dell) with the
best price are available in mail order (direct) only, many people
still buy their PC from retail stores. Is that because of the pleasure
of trying things out before buying in the store?

E-mail? Cann't beat the telephone and answering service, Cellular.

Oh God, the more I think of it, the more I'm discouraged.

PLEASE HELP ME!!!
