The list of the top ten fabless producers includes SanDisk, but even though the plant used by SanDisk is owned by Toshiba, the two companies produce jointly and share capacity jointly. I'm wondering what's the use of distinguishing between fab and fabless, except in periods of extreme glut or shortage of chips. Assuming there is some significance, it's interesting to see that QCOM has the number one position.
