Great example of an article intended to impress idiots.

Start with documents no one has seen, translate them into English by an unidentified third party, release it to the press as if it was a secret, then quote it out of context, without naming any sources or confirming any identities. At the very end admit to the fact the documents refer to a time frame when the United States was helping set up the organization that eventually became al-Qaida after bin Laden was trained by the CIA.

It's an article about nothing, based on out of date hearsay from undisclosed and unverifiable sources. Although I do have to admit there is a certain amount of art involved in making the arrest of a shoe salesman sound interesting.
