I don't see any evidence that he made either situation worse, though he didn't make them any better, either.

Evidence!?! Where have you been???

The guy walked away, cowered, from Iraq when Saddam denied access to the inspectors. This action directly resulted in the nightmare scenario we're having to deal with today.

He allowed the nitwit Carter to negotiate what must be one of the worst agreements of the last 100 years, in which we paid NK huge amounts of money NOT to build nuclear weapons while they kept right on doing it, leading with an even WORSE nightmare scenario.

The Clinton administration literally WRECKED our foreign policy for years to come. Furthermore, he downright GUTTED our military making it more difficult for Bush to pick up the pieces.

It will take a lot of YEARS of Republican administration to overcome this mess Clinton left. And it could get worse before it gets better. The guy is, quite simply, a gross incompetent.

I think if he gets Kofi Annan's job, it will suit him perfectly. Head of an irrelevant organization. He'd probably be good at it. Besides, there are lots of near-teenagers for him to bop hanging around the UN.
