What nightmare?

Other nations refusing to support the disarming of Iraq. The day the inspectors were denied access, a competent president would have said, "You've got 30 days before the Gulf War resumes" And we'd have been building up military in the Gulf. At the end of 30 days, we would have been striking Iraq seriously.

No UN resolutions applied for or needed. Just do it. But no, we had an incompetent dipsh*t in office who had other stuff on his mind.

I don't think it made anything any worse... just pushed the problem on to the next guy.

By definition, "pushing it off to the next guy" is making it worse. This is precisely what Bush has said he WILL NOT DO. He will deal with the problems on his watch.

I'm not sure how many years of a Republican administration you're going to get

I'm not either. I hate the thought of another Democrat president. There isn't ONE running who is competent to hold the job. Then, next time, there is Hillary.

I believe Bush will get another 4 years, but I also watched what happened with the previous Bush presidency. The Bill Clinton lying team was tough. Nobody could have defeated it. We saw it with Gore in '00. I'm certain we'll see it again from the Dems in '04.
