We had more credibility with Europe before the last couple of years?

No. We lost all credibility during the Clinton years, as we weren't viewed as willing to do what has to be done.

When Bush 41 was president, we had true credibility.

Credibility isn't the same as polls. I could care less about polls. I could care less about the UN.

Credibility is ultimately what avoids war. When you don't have credibility, you can't negotiate your way out of a paper bag. Credibility derives from strength and the willingness to use it. Without either, you have no credibility. Without credibility, you're a paper tiger and much more likely to end up in a war with dead Americans.

I am angry. I think it is high time we start having intelligence testing for voters.
