The same thing can be said of the Reagan era. A feel-good era supported by the charisma of an actor-turned-president.

The funny thing is that after the Reagan era, the Cold War ended and the Berlin Wall fell. After the Clinton era, the economic bubble burst and terrorism reared its ugly head.
