My understanding is the market's shares are public shares. They belong to Mr & Mrs John Q Public. They no longer belong to the corporations. If the companies want's those shares back they have to buy them from the public market. Anytime politicians get in the act, you can throw out common sense and economic efficiency. Maybe no shorting of companies below a certain float may make sense but the above opinion still stands. Am I wrong? Dominick
