Thanks for the post. Pepsico is also my core holding, and has treated me nicely. I was able to increase my position at the end of April for
$32/share, I would buy more on any pullback below $35. The fast food
business has been a drain for about the last 5 years, so I look for Pepsico to make some nice gains after the spinoff. If they could lose
the bottling division, they could really make some impressive gains.
However, I don't expect much from Tricon. Think they are planning to load it with debt, plus they have lost a lot of their key restaurant
people in the last few years. This, of course, is only my opinion and
probably worth what it costs - nothing. Good luck.
