Thanks for the insight. If I recall, Ipsco got the Alliance pipe contract because it was high pressure pipe. I suspect the Arctic gas pipeline will also be a high pressure pipeline to save on costs and to allow sending gas liquids, which would probably be stripped out where the high pressure line hooked up with existing pipelines, or have to tie in with the Alliance line. I don't think Ipsco has any nearby competitors for high pressure pipe, but I could be wrong.
