Obviously we do not tell the rest of the world it can't have nukes. Many other countries have nukes. What we are against is rogues getting nukes. It is only a matter of time, of course, before rogues get them. And someday, I think fairly soon, one of them is going to use a nuke either on us or on an ally. But we ought not just give up trying to delay that day. Allowing Saddam to get nukes is simply to hasten the day of nuke war.
