>>China has not done what the US has done to Mexico.<<

Not only did we take their land, we took the part with the good roads.

>>Tibet and China can only be compared to the 500 Nations of the Native Americans and the USA.<<

I am always astonished that the US is singled out in the history of the Americas. Nobody bitches about how the Canadians treated their own Native Americans, nobody bitches about how the Mexicans treated their own Native Americans, or the Cubans, or the Guatemalans, or the Brazilians, or the Venezuelans. You know why? Ignorance.

You know all about how the Japanese treated the Chinese, but you really don't know anything about how the Native Americans were treated, in any nation in the Americas.

The Cubans killed all theirs. Enslaved them, made them work on sugar planations, until they all died. Did you know that?

The Mexicans enslaved theirs, made them work in the silver mines until they died, but not all of them. Did you know that?

In many parts of Latin America (example, Guatemala), if you are part Indian (mestizo) you are scum compared to people who are purely European. Did you know that?

No. That's my guess, anyway. You read someone ranting about how the Native Americans were treated by Americans, and it sounded cool, so you glommed onto it. Something to throw in the face of Americans who are outraged at the way the Chinese treat the Tibetans today, not a hundred or two hundred years ago, but today.

It's ok to kill Tibetans today because some Americans killed some Native Americans a hundred years ago, or two hundred years ago. I would be very surprised if you didn't realize that was bullshit. Not that you can say it out loud.

I am part Cherokee and part Chippewa, and if you can tell the difference without resorting to Google, I'd be astonished.
