All very true. Organic farming is a luxury, and the use of chemical pesticides is necessary to ensure a sound crop in many areas. As Nick Eberstadt (an expert demographer) pointed out once, in countries where the average life span is less than 50, it is idle to worry about the health effects of chemicals like DDT, we have to cure malnutrition before worrying about cancer.......
