I don't understand why SDX is only trading at $6.85 a share. If Gulf is offering about 0.7 shares for each SDX share and it is trading about $10.10, then SDX should be trading about $7.05. The only explanation I can come up with is that the market is now treating SDX as a proxy for GOU and that it is forecasting a further decline in the price of GOU. Comments, anyone?
