Penney, Target Profits Up in Soft Market
Thursday February 20, 1:51 pm ET
By Emily Kaiser

CHICAGO (Reuters) - U.S. retailers reported solid profits on Thursday, although some relied on cost-cutting and credit card business to offset a disappointing holiday shopping season.<i/>

It is my belief when man lives under a climate of fear of the unknown that man does not act with the future in mind but acts with today being the only day in their lives.

Duct tape and plastic do not add to the future of any economy. You deplete the futures hopes so credit cards will see increased use you can't collect from the dead. Retailers should start to do pretty well but debt I feel will balloon. This will cause the US dollar to tumble on the world market.
