Dear Charles: How could merely doubling the cache and doing a few little things make it (Prescott) so much newer? Then Barton could be called newer as well. Dual core dual DDR 64 bit 90nm Opteron with glueless ccNUMA has more new things than a stodgy rework of P4 on a smaller process. Prescott is evolution (if you can call going down a well worn path evolution). Pete
