Thanks for the reply. I just noticed that Applied's slogan on "Total Solutions" seemed to become more prevalent shortly after the Orbot-Opal acquisitions (and, of course, the coming on-line of their Mirra CMP tool after many iterations); but this is just my impression.

Still, I agree with you that the two O's are still too small, and probably lack coverage of the entire universe of inspection/metrology tools, to replace KLA-Tencor in a fab.
