Skeeter, you have to pose this question to David Lammers, Electronic Engineering Times (who wrote the piece referred to here). does anybody on this thread know of any dram manufacturer that is selling highe volume shipments of 16 mb dram for $8 a pop? anybody? As to credibility, whom would you believe, a bunch of bears with a history of predicting continuous losses for micron (and with consistent inaccuracy, i might add) and questionable sources (sometimes possibly non-existent, akin to mike burke's close (g) links in Taiwan) or some one who probably has inside sources in the industry and has no reason to mis-state the facts? In fact, given the ludicrous track record of micron bears on this thread for the last eighteen months (when I have been following the stock), I have half a mind to start a stock price predictions contest (just for some guarenteed entertainment). Also, I sure would like to see how you will wiggle out of your 0.30 fourth quarter prediction, come sep 15 (g). Sridhar
