Looks like higher gold prices might revive another "dead" project (aka future production)

"Placer Dome Inc said on Thursday a key economic study of its large Getchell gold deposit (proven and probable mineral reserves of 2.7 million ounces) in Nevada had been completed and an operating plan for full-scale production would be presented within three months."

Two other projects:

"Placer committed to develop Donlin and exercised its option to become joint-venture manager of the project with Canadian small-cap exploration company Novagold Resources Inc"
AND
"feasibility study had been launched on the Pueblo Viejo gold project in the Dominican Republic"

Summary: "Pueblo Viejo, Donlin and Getchell together contain more then than 30 million ounces of resources."
