Thanks Derek....I wonder just how many public school text books have any of that history in them? My guess is that very few do....

Reminds me that I wanted to go to the local Middle and High Schools and see what kind of books they were using as text books for American History as well as World History. My guess is I probably won't like what I see. Maybe we should all do that, even if we don't have our own kids in school.

I read something a long time ago that seems to be quite apt:

"If one doesn't have a good understanding of history, then one is doomed to repeat it".....
