Interesting this notion of "tipping points". My tipping point is freedom and humanitarian rights for the people of Iraq. I believe a democratic Iraq, will give the middle east the fuel necessary to ignite a wave of movements, aligned toward free markets and democracy in the region.

When people have no voice in government, they turn to anyone who has the ability to speak out, and who gives them a sense of empowerment. In the middle East, that avenue has too often been radical Islamic teachers under the control of Mullah's. Religion has become the defacto "shadow government voice" because, free speech, free assembly and political opposition has been rendered mute. This is the environment which gives rise to radical elements, radical solutions, and radical actions.

Reduce that powder geg, and we will eventually reduce the terrorist elements which spring from it.
