War cash cost estimates = payed by (free) Iraqi oil, according to a program on C-SPAN.
(no crossfire shouting match, but some conservative think-tank forum)

That is, I don't think the saudis will pay this time, maybe Kuwait, if they get to drill
in the disputed area on the border to Irak. (maybe oil will go back to $10/barrel then??
which, on the other hand, tilts the cash-balance for free oil)

This Turkey cash is more interesting, especially as it has(had?) to be "in writing"
because the promises last time were not followed up and the turkish economy
was hit really badly, both by the war, lost tourism, refugees, lost trade and
ontop of it earthquake and now recession.

Additionally those 6 billions for (US) weapons to stay in NATO.

Btw, the topic of "free oil" came up in response to worries about

- the Iraqi oil pumping, delivery equipment is not in tip-top shape
- what about if it is bombed or destroyed by the Iraqi or just about
anyone feeling it would be a good idea.

Anyway, the guesses were on a cashback period of some 10-15 years, more
if the price of oil drops. (something like that)
